Sealing skirt for oil storage (refinery tanks) and nuclear applications  Certain oil tanks are equipped with a floating roof to eliminate the gas phase that collects above the oil, thereby considerably reducing evaporation losses, which is advantageous ecologically, economically and also for safety reasons. The annular space between the tank skirt and floating room is equipped with sealing systems which complete this vapour release prevention effort which protecting the oil against external contamination. Aérazur makes its own Nitrile, Neoprene and Viton coated fabrics in different thicknesses and on various textile backings to product floating roof seals with interesting properties, such as very good resistance to the products stored, and against abrasion and aging.
